We Suffer in Isolation — We Heal In Connection

In a career spanning 30 years, Ceci McDonnell has taught clients and her students about the vital link between healing, imagination and play. Join Ceci for two days and connect again to the wellspring of creativity.

Our creative unconscious is our access to infinite resources, and generations of wisdom about being human. The world of complexity, technology and domination increasingly disconnects us from nature and one another. Yet in it all, not only the possibility, but the incessant likelihood, of healing can be experienced. Ceci as a person, as a wise woman, and as a profound professional will share pathways to love, grieve, laugh and connect again.

In this 2-Day workshop with Ceci McDonnell, we'll hear the stories that bring change, experience the support of our creative force, and receive practices we can use for our clients.

We will be weaving together and calling on three primary streams of therapeutic experience:

1) how to integrate loving-kindness (metta) meditation,

2) experiencing the sacred realm of imagination, and

3) the reparative power of play.

All are welcome to join — whether you're a helping professional or someone interested in learning more about the role of imagination and play in your own life.

Attuned Presence

Our authentic presence is the crucible of connection with our clients. Together we will experience deep attunement through the body, and learn how OI-informed loving-kindness (metta) helps restore the innate capacity for emotional and caring relationships.

Imaginal Play

The imagination is so much more than fantasy. Learn how to guide clients' explorations of the imaginal so that it reveals its sacred gifts. With compassionate and balanced support, the client’s imaginal system helps restore their system and the return to healthy interpersonal connections. Learn key interventions for safely using imaginal play for adaptive change in relational connection.

Safety & Self-Regulation

The therapeutic relationship for clients with deep, developmental wounding is a dynamic and delicate endeavor. Learn how to help your clients experience their own nervous system regulation, with compassion and safety-focused techniques.

"Imagination is a Sacred Place and should be

visited often!"
